Senior Wind Analyst
Conor Coady has worked in the wind industry since 2003 and has experience in a wide range of roles and perspectives from within the industry. He now specialises in wind resource assessment.
Conor became involved with the industry when he joined GE in 2003, to assist in the construction of Irelands first Offshore wind project, Arklow Bank. Among other project engineering duties, Conor ran a successful lessons-learned project.
Conor then went on to complete an MSc. In Renewable Energy systems at DKIT before emigrating to New Zealand, to work for a small wind farm developer. From here he first joined DNV GL (formerly Garrad Hassan) providing a range of consultancy services, for both prospective and operational projects. Work also included engagement with Pacific Island countries to help advance renewable energy development.
On returning to Ireland Conor joined ESB to work in wind farm acquisition and project development, before returning to work for DNVGL. Here he focussed on resource assessment for the Irish market. Conor now works with Brightwind as a senior analyst.
